About

I am the mother to three kids and two dogs, grandmother to two boys, and wife to one husband.

I currently live in Maastricht, Netherlands, but I have lived in a variety of places such as West Texas, Alabama, Kansas, Florida, Georgia, and Germany. Each address has molded me into who I am today.

I grew up as an Army brat and learned at early age the importance of travel. Sometimes you have to find your lowest point in order to look up at what God has blessed us with.

Beauty is everywhere. It's in the flower breaking through the sidewalk in Soho. It's in the way the sun pokes out ray by ray from behind a mountain in Germany. It's in the way an elephant looks into your soul and seems to say "thank you for loving me."

I wish I could capture the emotion of the beauty I feel at the time I take every picture I take. I guess that's what photography is - trying to capture an emotion.
